An impressive and highly specialized collection of Iceland postal stationery, with particularly strong representation of the classic and early 20th-century issues and continuing into the modern period. The collection has been assembled with considerable attention to the different denominations, designs, formats, overprints and types of Icelandic postal stationery.

The early portion is especially appealing, beginning with a substantial range of classic Brjefspjald / Bréfspjald postal cards, including numerous denominations, colors and formats. Of particular specialist interest are examples of the well-known Í GILDI '02-'03 overprinted postal stationery, along with attractive ornamental-design cards, international postal cards and related early issues.

The collection then progresses into later Icelandic postal stationery, including letter cards, printed-matter stationery, aerograms and modern postal cards.
