Czechoslovakia

Czechoslovakia, a central European country, existed from 1918 to 1992. Formed in the aftermath of World War I, it united the Czech lands of Bohemia, Moravia, and Slovakia. During its existence, Czechoslovakia experienced profound political changes, including the Munich Agreement of 1938, Nazi occupation, and the establishment of a communist regime post-World War II. The peaceful Velvet Revolution in 1989 led to the end of communist rule, and in 1993, the country peacefully split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
